Philippine eagle, Pamana has been shot dead two months after being released back into the wild. Perpetrators seem not convinced about what conservationists say:
“to kill the Philippine eagle is to kill a fellow Filipino.”
the Philippine Eagle Foundation said that Pamana succumbed to a gunshot wound on its right breast.
Approximately four-hundred pairs are still in the wilderness of southern Mindanao and Pamana is the 30th casualty.
