1 “This commercial made me laugh. I agree to certain extent on the idea of commercials like that be
acceptable in our country. It makes the industries more… interesting. But then again, there’s a chance
that some companies may go overboard in using this method and may end up tarnishing or destroying
the image of the rival company (imagine how that would suck for the targeted company). I guess this is
why it’s not allowed in the Philippines? Well, it is for the protection of the companies from one another…
at least that’s what I think?”
2 “Regarding the Google logo, the letters “g” and “l” actually moved ever so slightly. The “g” moved to
the right and the “l” moved down a little. I’m actually amazed and appalled at the fact that even the
smallest of changes can be considered as a “whole make over” for a company’s logo. Very
interesting.”
3 “I have no problems with Comics Sans, the issue here is the misplacement of the font by most
people. To me, this font is pretty decent… if applied correctly.”
4 “These ads are good, but it still lacks the impact. People are not that concerned with animals
unless it falls under the category of pet material. Sure, some people may become aware and
feel sad about it (honestly, i think others would just brush it off) but they do not know how grave
the situation really is. Having some of these animals treated poorly can lead to drastic reduction
of population or worse… extinction of the species. In which, the balance of the ecosystem would
tip off yet again. Bravo, mankind.”
5 “Creative and cute.”
6 “Interesting, i like the execution of each design.”
7 “Simple and comprehensive. The infographic design is good.”
8 “The designs are entertaining and interesting, I like it.”
9 “They’ve put alot of thought on this one. Limiting the elements used to portray the ad
and yet, they’re still able to send a message that gives out a great impact.”

10 “Mind bending. It goes to show how our brain can easily betray how we see things. Art
like these are very interesting and fun.”

3 Advertising may be described as the science of arresting the human intelligence long enough to get
money from it.
4 I bought some of the Pedigree Chum they keep advertising. It was terrible. In the end I had to give it
to the dog.
5 The owner of a hardware store is dismayed when a huge new hardware store opens up next door
erecting a large sign saying, ‘Best Deals’. He’s even more horrified when another huge hardware store
opens up on the other side of his store puttting up an even larger sign saying, ‘Lowest Prices’. The
shopkeeper is panicked then has a bright idea. He puts a large sign over his own store saying,
‘Main Entrance’.
